Devika Varghese is Program Implementation Lead, PSI India. She has over 18 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing projects in developmental issues that include elementary education, education for out of school adolescent and reproductive health for women with particular focus on private sector initiatives.
Her technical expertise includes public-private partnerships, provider networks and social franchises, quality improvements and ICT for behaviour change. Devika is the Associate Director, for AYSRH under TCIHC project in India. In this role she is responsible for providing strategic direction for the field support teams and ensuring that the program is a platform to scale up high impact proven strategies for adolescent sexual and reproductive health in Uttar Pradesh and quickly scale up learnings across various geographies of India.
Prior to joining PSI, she was the Deputy Director, mHealth at Abt Associates, India office. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources, and a certificate degree in instructional design from the Harvard School of Education, Boston.
