Maria Middah

President, Comité de Jeunes Filles Leaders (COJEFIL)

Middah Maria is a young Nigerian woman aged 33. She graduated from the Institut Régional d'Informatique, de Management, d'Assurance et de Gestion (IRIMAG)-Niamey with a Bachelor's degree in Administration Management and a Master's 2 in the same field. Passionate about sustainable development, Maria is an activist in the field of youth inclusion, girls' and women's rights. She is also a member of several youth associations. For example, she was in charge of organizing the Network of Young Ambassadors for Reproductive Health and Family Planning (RJA/SRPF) in Niger. She was also in charge of external relations for the Comité de Jeunes Filles Leaders (COJEFIL), of which she is now President. Thanks to her experience, skills and commitment, Maria represents her association on several platforms and networks, including the Community of Practice on youth reproductive health and climate change in Niger. She has more than once represented her association at major national and international meetings. Her leadership has also earned her a position as project manager with COJEFIL.
