Dr. Kagurusi is a Public Health Specialist with more than 19 years of experience in both Technical, Managerial and Strategic Public Health. His interest and practice is in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child & Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) and WASH. He is currently the Deputy Country Director and RMNCAH Technical Advisor at Amref Health Africa in Uganda. His work involves design and technical oversight over public health and development interventions as well as research. He has worked with remote communities, especially young people, women and girls, to helping them to achieve life skills. He has also worked in the public and private health sector as well as the academia at Makerere University School of Public Health.
