The Jeunes en Vigie program aims to address gaps in the availability and accessibility of quality SRHR services for young women by integrating a feminist and human rights perspective into its social audits. This feature story on the Jeunes en Vigie program is one of the three implementation stories selected for a 2024 series on expanding comprehensive sexual and reproductive health access, developed by Knowledge SUCCESS and WHO/IBP Network.
Knowledge SUCCESS conducted an assessment of how knowledge management was integrated into Costed Implementation Plans in five West African countries. The findings revealed multifaceted ways that KM contributes to stronger FP/RH outcomes and more efficient use of limited resources.
Self-care for sexual and reproductive health has advanced significantly in the last two years, following the publication of the World Health Organization's (WHO) self-care guidelines in 2018, recently updated in 2022. According to Senior Technical Advisor for Self-Care Sarah Onyango, remarkable progress has been made at national levels, with several countries developing and adopting national self-care guidelines.
Recently, Knowledge SUCCESS organized a three-day Learning Circles session in Thiès, bringing together Senegalese professionals in family planning and reproductive health to explore effective self-care practices, with the participation of twenty stakeholders from various sectors.
