Politique de santé Plus

Politique de santé Plus (HP+) strengthens and advances health policy priorities at global, nationale, and subnational levels. The project aims to improve the enabling environment for equitable and sustainable health services, supplies, and delivery systems through policy design, la mise en oeuvre, and financing. Taken together, evidence-based, inclusive policies; more sustainable health financing; improved governance; and stronger global leadership and advocacy will lead to improved health outcomes worldwide.

Projet Passages (IRH, FHI 360)

Passages project is a USAID-funded implementation research project (2015-2021) that aims to address a broad range of social norms, at scale, to achieve sustained improvements in family planning, la santé reproductive, and gender-based violence. Passages seeks to build the evidence base and contribute to the capacity of the global community to strengthen normative environments that support reproductive health and well-being, especially among young people at life course transition points, including very young adolescents, newly married youth, and first-time parents.

The mission of the Center on Gender Equity and Health is to improve population health and development by improving the status, opportunities and safety of women and girls, globally. The Center focuses on conducting innovative global public health research, medical and academic training, and development and evaluation of evidence-based policies and practices related to gender inequities (girl child marriage, son preference and daughter aversion) and gender-based violence (partner violence, sexual assault & exploitation, sex trafficking).

MAGASINS Plus

Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus is USAID’s flagship initiative in private sector health. The project seeks to harness the full potential of the private sector and catalyze public-private engagement to improve health outcomes in family planning, HIV/AIDS, santé maternelle et infantile, and other health areas. SHOPS Plus supports the achievement of US government health priorities and improves the equity and quality of the total health system.

The Population Council conducts research to address critical health and development issues. Our work allows couples to plan their families and chart their futures. We help people avoid HIV infection and access life-saving HIV services. And we empower girls to protect themselves and have a say in their own lives. We conduct research and programs in more than 50 des pays. Our New York headquarters supports a global network of offices in Africa, Asie, Latin America, and the Middle East. From its beginning, the Council has given voice and visibility to the world’s most vulnerable people. We increase awareness of the problems they face and offer evidence-based solutions. In the developing world, governments and civil society organizations seek our help to understand and overcome obstacles to health and development. And we work in developed countries, where we use state-of-the-art biomedical science to develop new contraceptives and products to prevent the transmission of HIV.
