Please join us for an exciting webinar titled: “Strategies and Approaches for Prevention of Teenage Pregnancies in East, Central and Southern Africa Region.” The webinar will foster a collaborative environment, facilitating discussion on strategies to reduce teenage pregnancy and its associated challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa. For this webinar we are partnering with the East, Central, and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC), which aims to collaborate with partners to advocate for adolescent health, build evidence, develop and test program support tools, build capacity, and pilot initiatives in the growing number of countries recognizing the need to address adolescent sexual and reproductive health.

Specifically the webinar will:

  • Highlight strategies and approaches to mitigate teenage pregnancies in the region.
  • Share regional policy measures by various governments to address increasing trends in teenage pregnancies in the region.
  • Unpack innovative ways of shifting service delivery to address unintended pregnancies among teens and adolescents in the region.
  • Provide insights into the role of learning institutions in addressing and mitigating teenage pregnancies in the region.
