Knowledge Management (KM) Training Package
The Knowledge Management Training Package is an online training resource to help program managers and KM trainers strengthen the capacity of the global health workforce to organize and share critical knowledge and use that learning to deliver effective and efficient programs and services. It has numerous ready-to-use training modules on a wide range of approaches and skills that programs and organizations seek to strengthen their capacity in such as:
- Storytelling to bring data to life and compel people to take action
- Creating visual content like videos and infographics to communicate information in easy-to-digest formats
- Facilitating peer-to-peer learning on what’s working and what’s not through approaches like after-action reviews or Knowledge SUCCESS’s Learning Circles
- Encouraging people to share and learn from failures to avoid repeating mistakes
- Conducting peer assists to learn from other teams’ experiences and avoid reinventing the wheel
The KM Training Package also includes introductory modules to explain and demystify what KM is and why global health programs should invest in it, as well as how to integrate important considerations like equity and behavioral sciences to ensure better results in your KM initiatives.
