The demographic dividend is commonly defined as the accelerated economic growth that can occur as a population age structure matures. Over the last four years, the USAID-funded PACE project has developed new analysis aiming to broaden the classic definition of the dividend by showing how age structure change can promote benefits across four sectors―the economy, as the dividend has classically been defined, but also health, education, and governance.
