The Four Dividends: Catalyzing Multisectoral Commitment to Family Planning Under PACE

The demographic dividend is commonly defined as the accelerated economic growth that can occur as a population age structure matures. Over the last four years, the USAID-funded PACE project has developed new analysis aiming to broaden the classic definition of the dividend by showing how age structure change can promote benefits across four sectors―the economy, as the dividend has classically been defined, but also health, शिक्षा, and governance.

This event will showcase the Four Dividends findings and highlight lessons learned from two regions in reaching national and subnational policy decisionmakers across development sectors, featuring presentations by:

  • Shyami de Silva, उप निदेशक, USAID Office of Population and
    प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य
