ONLINE EVENT:

Twitter Spaces Chat: FP2030 Re-Commitment Process in East Africa

Building on the successes and lessons witnessed in the last nine years, the FP2030 partnership aims to be stronger and more inclusive. In 2019, a youth arm in the partnership was established. In East Africa, youth focal points were identified and have been instrumental in the re-commitment process, introducing a youth-centric approach to family planning and reproductive health in the region.

The FP2030 partnership aims at driving data-informed decision making, emphasizing the importance of transforming social and gender norms, improving system responsiveness to individual rights and needs, expanding the narrative and shaping the policy agenda around family planning, and increasing, diversifying, and efficiently using financing.

In collaboration with FP2030, join Knowledge SUCCESS for an engaging, informative two-part social media dialogue with the FP2030 East Africa Youth Focal Points. The first 30 minutes will take on Amref Health Africa’s Twitter (@AmrefICD), and then the dialogue will move to Amref Health’s Twitter Space for a live, audio conversation with the Youth Focal Points.
