WEBINAR:

Family Planning in the UHC Agenda Part 1: Theory vs. Reality in UHC and Family Planning

Join FP2030, Knowledge SUCCESS, PAI, and Management Sciences for Health on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM EST as we host Family Planning in the UHC Agenda, a new collaborative dialogue series to shape policy, programming, and research.

As we aspire to make sure all people have access to the health services they need, we recognize that no healthcare will be truly universal without access to family planning.

Please join FP2030, Knowledge SUCCESS, PAI, and Management Sciences for Health as we host Family Planning in the UHC Agenda, a new collaborative dialogue series to shape policy, programming, and research. Not your typical webinar, this series will bring the family planning community together for interactive discussions in advance of the upcoming International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) 2022—whose theme is Family Planning and Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

Part 1 of the series—Theory vs Reality in UHC and Family Planning—will ground the conversation for our three-part series. We will discuss the linkages between UHC and family planning, uncover gaps in building momentum on the policy front, and discuss the role of civil society in shaping policy related to UHC and family planning. We will discuss the importance of advocacy at the national and subnational levels, and talk about entry points for creating change and designing policy for UHC and family planning.
