Adam Lewis ni mtaalamu wa maendeleo ya biashara na mjasiriamali wa kijamii anayeishi Afrika Mashariki, ambapo anashauri mashirika ya ndani ya umma na ya kibinafsi katika maeneo ya afya ya ngono/uzazi, afya ya uzazi/mtoto mchanga, huduma ya dharura/makini na upasuaji/anesthesia salama. Pia anafanya kazi kama mshauri wa sekta ya kibinafsi na FP2030 (vuguvugu la kimataifa la kuendeleza afya ya ujinsia/uzazi ya wanawake na wasichana) na mwanzilishi mwenza wa SUJUKWA (AZISE ya Kitanzania inayozingatia masuluhisho ya kibunifu kwa watoa huduma wa afya nchini). Adam amefanya kazi katika afya na maendeleo ya kimataifa kwa zaidi ya muongo mmoja, awali kama mshauri wa mawasiliano na utetezi wa Merck for Mothers (mpango wa uwajibikaji wa shirika kupunguza vifo vya uzazi) na USAID kabla ya mpito kuongoza maendeleo ya biashara katika Afrika Kusini mwa Jangwa la Sahara kwa Gradian. Health Systems (biashara ya kijamii ya Marekani ambayo hutengeneza ganzi na vifaa vya utunzaji muhimu) na Laerdal Medical (kampuni ya Norway inayotaalamu wa bidhaa za mafunzo ya huduma ya dharura). Adam pia ni mtafiti na mwandishi wa kujitegemea anayeshughulikia afya ya kimataifa na haki ya kijamii, na makala zilizochapishwa katika VICE, Washington Post, Huffington Post, Guardian, Colorlines, NextBillion, na maduka mengine.
