Exploring social norms around RH affecting unmarried adolescent girls in Burundi
This qualitative study aimed to identify relevant individuals and groups (key influencers) who influence and uphold RH social norms for adolescent or unmarried girls and women. Passages conducted focus group discussions on four domains of inquiry: ‘

- Menstruation and menstrual hygiene management.
- Sexual risk behaviors.
- Sexual violence.
- Fertility and voluntary family planning use.
The findings and subsequent recommendations from this study could introduce you to new entry points to engage with key influencers and integrate different approaches into your norms-shifting work.
