OUR PICK THIS WEEK

AFP's Future of Advocacy Options Brief

AFP’s newest Options Brief is innovative: it responds directly to the need for improved local ownership for family planning programming. Key points address strengthening local capacity, securing sustainable funding, and nurturing collaborative partnerships.

The information here is important for all looking to support the Journey to Self-Reliance for FP programming. It offers a practical model for working at the local level to decrease dependence on donors for FP/RH and improve sustainability. It is also evidence-based, building on 10 years of consultations with country level FP programming staff, funders, and advocacy efforts—as well as the literature.
