Updated: PRB’s Youth Family Planning Policy Scorecard

That One Thing - The one FP/RH update you need to focus on this week

Dear Family Planning Champion,

Does your work involve engaging youth in family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH)? No matter where you work, it’s important to understand the extent to which a country’s policy environment enables youth to access and use FP. PRB’s Youth Policy Scorecard makes this easy, and recently launched an update to this digital platform.

This year’s update includes new analyses for six countries: Zambia, India, Malawi, Nepal, the Philippines, and Bangladesh, making the Scorecard inclusive of 28 countries in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Updated: PRB’s Youth Family Planning Policy Scorecard

PRB is also hosting a virtual launch event today, May 11, from 9:00-10:00am EDT  where panelists will provide an overview of the Scorecard, provide insight into the methodology, summarize the most recent results, and leave time for Q&A. If you missed it, they will share a recording in English and French on their YouTube page.

This update to the digital platform lets users interact with the different analyses or download the Scorecard as a full report. If you work in family planning advocacy or policy development, or with youth-focused programming in FP/RH,  you should make sure not to miss this update from PRB’s Youth Family Planning Policy Scorecard.
