Vivien Facunla

Team Leader, Women-Managed Area is a Right, PATH Foundation Philippines, Inc.

Vivien Facunla was born and raised in Palawan, Philippines. She holds a B.S. in Marine Biology from Palawan State University. She has more than two decades of field-based experience in fisheries and marine biodiversity conservation, networking, advocacy, and marine spatial planning. She has worked with various stakeholders and gained relevant experiences in advocating human rights with a special focus on Gender, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and indigenous peoples' tenurial rights. Currently, she is the Field Programme Coordinator for Calamianes Island Group under the USAID Fish Right Program and Team Leader for the Women-Managed Area is a Right Project of PATH Foundation Philippines, Inc.
