Jhpiego’s goal is to ensure that all individuals’ sexual and reproductive health and rights are respected, protected and fulfilled. To achieve this vision, Jhpiego follows a multipronged approach: address the knowledge, attitudes, behavior and social norms surrounding family planning and reproductive health; optimize organization and delivery of family planning and reproductive health services; and create an environment that supports provision and continued use of these services. Our initiatives and efforts aim to overcome barriers to access and bend the curve toward ensuring high-quality, safe and effective family planning and reproductive health services for all.

On January 25, Knowledge SUCCESS hosted “Advancing Self-Care in Asia: Insights, Experiences, and Lessons Learned,” a panel conversation featuring experts from India, Pakistan, Nepal, and West Africa. The speakers discussed the feasibility and future of self-care for family planning (FP) in Asia and lessons learned from program experiences in West Africa.
As we mark the thirty-fourth World AIDS Day on December 1, 2022, more needs to be done to ensure that HIV is prevented, treated, and eventually eradicated.
