Associate, Impact for Health International

Jaitra is an Associate at Impact for Health, where she manages technical projects in sexual and reproductive health (SRH), self-care, and market systems development, focusing on engaging the private sector. Previously, she worked as a Consultant and Technical Officer at the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific in Manila, Philippines, supporting country offices in applying a gender and health equity lens to their programs. Before that, she served as a Public Health Intern with the Ministry of Health in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, where she assisted in developing an accessibility checklist for evaluating the built environment of hospitals in the province and contributed to the development of an autism policy. Jaitra holds a BHSc in Health Studies from Western University and a Master of Public Health with a Specialization in Health Promotion and Social Behavioural Sciences from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
