Are you interested in practicing knowledge management at ICFP2022? Here are three ways!
- Share your experience. ICFP2022 will include a range of convening opportunities, from scientific sessions and networking events. Sharing your experience with other conference-goers is not just a good way to network, but it helps others improve their programs. And keep in mind that sharing our failures is just as important—or perhaps even more important—than talking about our successes.
- Use a common platform. There is a flurry of activity at ICFP2022, and it is impossible to remember every resource you come across. However, the FP insight tool can help your KM efforts. Creating a collection on FP insight is a great way to make sure you can save the resources for future reference (because no one has time to read everything during ICFP!) and to share with your colleagues. You can even collaborate on a collection with others attending the conference! Are you presenting your work at ICFP? Help amplify the resources from your session to the broader FP/RH community by sharing them in an FP insight collection! (Find a great example of what this can look like here.)
- Join the online conversation. Whether you will be in Thailand or joining virtually, follow the conversation and make your voice heard on social media using the #ICFP2022 hashtag. And if you have questions or comments for us during the conference, make sure to tag us at @fprhknowledge on Twitter.
If you’re attending ICFP2022 in person, stop by Booth #41 to pick up materials or participate in our usability testing. We’ll also have our presentation slides and supplemental materials available for download on our virtual ICFP booth page, which also includes a curated reading list on UHC and family planning.
