On Earth Day 2021, Knowledge SUCCESS launched People-Planet Connection, an online platform focused on population, health, environment, and development (PHE/PED) approaches. As I reflect on the growth of this platform at the one-year mark (as we approach the annual celebration of Earth Day), I’m happy to report the addition of blog posts and time-bound dialogues to share and exchange information in a more timely and friendly format. As is the case with the new and the young, we have growth yet to come—to bring greater awareness of the value of this platform to the PHE/PED community and beyond.

Knowledge Management Champions play an important role in change management for family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) programs. Informal, cross-organizational knowledge and information sharing that aligns with regional context are in demand. FP/RH professionals call for new ways to access and use evidence and best practices to optimize FP/RH programs.
Despite the success of the Ouagadougou Partnership, the francophone Africa family planning and reproductive health ecosystem faces challenges. Knowledge SUCCESS aims to help address the identified regional knowledge management challenges.
Knowledge SUCCESS last week announced four winners from a field of 80 contestants in "The Pitch," a global competition to find and fund creative knowledge management ideas for family planning.
